J-Hoppers Kumano Yunomine Guesthouse is situated in Hongu, a 10-minute drive away or a 70-minute walk on the Kumano Kodo Pilgrimage Route from Kumano Hongu Taisha Grand Shrine. Has everything you could possibly ask for. Rooms are very comfortable, there are plenty of toilets, bathroom facilities, so no waiting time. The showers come with small onsen, every one of which is uniquely pretty. There are large common areas, which are very social. We even got invited to join the owners steam pot party one evening.

The food was the best that I had on my trip, they had Japanese cuisine mixed with Italian techniques, the drinks were also great. The staff was really helpful and friendly. The vibes of the room and the whole house were unique. Plus, if you are doing the Kumano Kodo, Nonagase Guest House is right on the path and so you don't have to take a detour and the nearest shop is like a 10 minute walk.

The room was exceptionally clean, and the staff were friendly and communicative. The apartment was very convenient to many bus lines that run through Shingu. You can take the bus a few steps away from the apartment the main sights.

The owner is incredibly nice and made me feel I wanna move to Japan! This is my first time in this country and the staff here is super friendly and made me feel really home, even better than the 5 star hotels in Osaka. The owner even speaks Chinese and helped me arrange massage. Impeccable. Thank you so much!
