We have an authentic taste of living in a traditional Japanese home, albeit a very large room. The whole two-storey unit was left all to ourselves after the restaurant below has closed. The host was very kind to have allowed us the use of many of the facilities in the unit, as I believe we were staying for more than 2 nights. There was very thoughtful provision of water and many little packets of tea and snacks as part of the package. All essential facilities (e.g. bathroom, shower, washing machine, dryer) worked well and good.

The 2-star guest house features lake views and is 3.9 km from Fuji-Q Highland. The guest house has family rooms. The host is amazing; extremely friendly and will try to accommodate all your needs. He picked us up from Kawaguchiko station and served us hot green tea. The view from the room was amazing as well.

I absolutely adored the style and decor of the house. It felt very special to be able to see how traditional meets modern, real life in this part of Japan. The family was so lovely and the whole area was just magical!
