The access to the BBQs was the best part - we bought some Hida beef from the local butcher to cook on the outdoor BBQ and it was one of the best meals I've ever had. Guest House Zen nằm giáp biển ở Yamanakako, cách Công viên giải trí Fujikyu Highland 18 km và Hồ Kawaguchi 21 km. Excellent facility, the set up is so relaxed, the owner is sooo cool. We fed the couple of swans and a few ducks that were out on the waterfront, the view is out of this world. We drove and the parking was easy to negotiate the location position it is not noisy and you can hear the water birds and other birds chirping. As the name says (ZEN) it truely is. Also the convenience store is only about 8 minutes walk away. Coming back from the store we visited a shrine that was having its annual summer festivities, kids were doing a Sumo fight next to the temple, the staff at the temple were inviting, also the men of the town were carrying a traditional Japanese float around the town then back to temple, up the stairs under Tori gate and to the front of the temple, ( the float is very heavy so is fun to see the guys struggling, but they get it up there. Its a once in a lifetime chance to see traditional Japanese culture.

Great and quiet location to get to know the area of Mount Fuji. The rooms were comfortable and there is an amazing traditional bath that you can use privately in turns. The hosts also accommodated vegan dinners upon request. The breakfast was exceptional!

The host and his wife were extremely kind and polite people. I really liked the experience in a traditional japanese house.

The host was super kind and helpful. He picked us up from the station and we got surprised by a room with a picture perfect view on Mt. Fuji and a cup of tea. Beautiful! On the day of check-out he gave us a ride back to the station. Minutes later I found out I left my AirPods in the room... But the host immediately drove back as quick as he could to bring them back to me, just in time to get my bus! 10 star service!

We felt very welcome, the place was clean and warm, and we even had the luxury of a direct view of Mount Fuji. The owner was very welcoming and took the time to show us around. The location is ideal, easy to get to by bus from Kawaguchiko station. What's more, there are bicycles available, so we could easily explore the surrounding area. I can't recommend it enough!
