Very good location in the Hanok Village. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They provided maps and recommendations to sites and restaurants, and woke up very early (5:30am!) the day of our check-out to help get us a taxi to go to the train station. It is a very cute place and it was a very good stay.

Centrally located on a quiet street, yet only within minutes walk to the main streets. Really cute little hanok, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Pungnam House. The host was super responsive, clear with communications and flexible. She even allowed us to do our laundry during our stay.

This hanok is even more beautiful than you expect. It was an amaizing experience to try it. The room was super clean, the bathroom is very basic, but it is impressive that they made the effort to build in a private bathroom fir every room, which makes the stay very confortable. The garden is also beautiful and it is very relaxing just to sit there with a tea. The location is top, you can discover the whole hanok village on foot, the local market is about 5-10 minutes walking distance as well as the most famous restaurants. Despite of the central location, the hanok was very quiet all day and night. Highly recommended.

If you’re looking to experience a hanok stay, I highly recommend Hanok Dream!! I decided to book this place after seeing all of the positive reviews and it truly lives up to the hype. The host is extremely kind and helped make this my favorite part of the trip. Perfect for first timers in Jeonju, he provides all of his recommendations and even drives you/ calls a taxi during check out to the bus terminal. The room itself is a bit small but for solo travelers, it’s sufficient. I was pretty worried about having to sleep on the floor but with the blankets/ sheets they provide, it was softer than some Korean hotel mattresses so I wouldn’t be too concerned. The location is also super convenient being a short walk to the main hanok village street! I hope to come back and stay here again :)

We had the most amazing time in Beautiful House. The house is located in the middle of the Jeonju historical area, shrine, and surrounded by authentic bibimbap restaurants. This area is also incredible to walk through at night. The house is very quiet and had modern bathroom facilities. The host is incredible! She brings you a freshly made breakfast every morning, and is very accommodating. Highly recommend this for your stay in Jeonju.

Everything! The location is perfect, right in the middle of the Hanok village with a lot of cute coffees and shops around. The owner was very kind, she welcomed us with an amazing tea and brought breakfast every morning with fruit and when we left she even got us a bag with snacks. Honestly was the best part of the trip around South Korea and the best guesthouse. I would come back for sure.

The house and room are beautifully maintained in a traditional way, and it keeps the spirit of the "raw" living style, which means the bed is a bit harder and there is no noise isolation, which is not a big problem.
