The location was perfect - steps away from the center of the Hanok village. Great food in every direction. The accommodation was very nice. I liked breakfast and I was completely comfortable with the futon on the floor. It was what I expected and I enjoyed the stay. Also, this kind of place is not for everyone. The buildings are not sound proof. The entrance is walk-in only from about 250 meters off the closest street. But if that is the adventure you want, stepping back in time and getting acquainted with a real Hanok style life, then this place is great!

On check in the owner gave us a map and circled all the fun activities. By booking the hotel we received a discount on multiple things around the area, such as restaurants and museums. Defineatly worth it!! Free coffee, water and fruits are available all day in the hanok house. Of course in a traditional Korean house you are sleeping on the floor however this is part of the experience. The hotel rooms are not very spacious so I would reccomend staying here for shorter stays!!

It was very well equipped and the attention to detail was much appreciated. Away from the more touristy area yet part of the hanok village - we didn't want to leave! The hot tub was a great bonus, as was the large screen. It was a very special place to spend time.

The house was spotless, beautiful, and very comfortable, with a lovely and peaceful outdoor area. The location, right in the heart of the Hanok Village, was simply incredible, everything was within walking distance and the atmosphere was amazing. Breakfast was a wonderful surprise, both delicious and full of care. Our host welcomed us warmly and took the time to show us on a map all the best places to visit, eat, and have coffee nearby, every recommendation was perfect!

The location is right close to everything, but it's also quiet and a good place for a deep sleep. The traditional hanok rooms are gorgeously charming. There is beautiful foliage outside. It's like a fairytale.

It was an amaizing experience to try it. The room was super clean, the bathroom is very basic, but it is impressive that they made the effort to build in a private bathroom fir every room, which makes the stay very confortable. The garden is also beautiful and it is very relaxing just to sit there with a tea. The location is top, you can discover the whole hanok village on foot, the local market is about 5-10 minutes walking distance as well as the most famous restaurants. Despite of the central location, the hanok was very quiet all day and night. Highly recommended.

The host gave us a map and detailed information about price and walking distance to the recommended restaurants and tourist attractions. The floor is heated. The owner can help us adjust the temperature of the heating. For us, the futons are comfortable. My family doesn’t mind the hard floor. I actually prefer hard mattress. The toilet is clean and easy to take shower. The water pressure is so good that you won’t feel cold at all. We had a family room for 5 of us. A bit crowded with all our luggage. But I would recommend this room for 3, there’s another smaller room right next to ours which just right for 2.
