Iqbal and his staff were so warm and welcoming! They went above and beyond making sure I felt comfortable and enjoyed my stay! I was welcomed with delicious pineapple juice and a pastry. I ended extending my stay because it was such a warm and cozy place to spend a few days at the beach. Beach access is a few meters away. Iqbal also arranged surf lessons to peanut farm and I couldn’t recommend them enough! Best surf coach I’ve ever had! The room was very clean and spacious with hangers for wet clothes and storage. The hammocks outside each room are a very nice touch and relaxing. Each morning, the breakfast was very good and tasty! Lots of fresh fruit! Whatever you need, Iqbal and his team will take care of. Had a lot of nice chats with Iqbal. He will be missed! Wish I could stay for longer. Will definitely be back to this cozy piece of paradise.

He was thoughtful and took care of everything we needed, and I can’t recommend him enough!!! Ris you are the best and don’t change!

Situated 300 metres from Arugam Bay Beach, Starfish Cabbana offers accommodation with a balcony, as well as a garden. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The guest house features rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. Fantastic place to stay. Very relaxed atmosphere and run by some great people who made you feel like part of the family. Excellent value for money and delicious home cooked breakfasts (a different one every day!!)

Basheer and raffelle were superb hosts we had better hospitality here compared to some 5 star hotels. The food was delicious, they organised a wonderful safari and we saw a leopard and elephant. They also helped us when arranging a dr when we arrived with stomach problems! Rooms are spotless. Beach is 1 minute walk. This is a gem of a hotel and I can’t recommend it more highly. The wonderful people made our stay the best so far in Sri Lanka - thank you so much

I was able to speak with him to extend my stay because it was so clean and comfortable. Embarrassingly I had ran out of fuel in my scooter and he was gracious enough to take to get fuel on his scooter. Can’t recommend this place enough!
