Wilpattu Restaurant & Guest house encontra-se em Pahala Maragahawewa, a 33 km de Kumbichchan Kulama Tank e a 33 km de Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi. I loved the friendliness and helpfulness of the host and his family. He was able to help us arrange transportation to/from the guesthouse and also the safari jeep. The location is very quiet despite being by the main road. It’s located some distance from the safari but still relatively close by. we managed to see the elephant and even a leopard! The room itself was clean and well planned, all the basic amenities were provided for us.

An amazing experience from an amazing family who go out of their way to give you the best experience. Went on safari with them, which was excellent… the food was excellent too!! This is the best accommodation in Wilpattu - you will not regret it!

Kalhara is the perfect host , highly attentive and thoughtful about every small detail. The rooms are spacious, with a minimal aesthetic, well maintained and super clean. Every meal was a lovely home cooked spread, accommodating certain dietary restrictions . One of the best stay experiences I had during my two week trip in Srilanka.

It’s very rustic and simple. AC is very functional. There were a few hiccups, but the outstanding staff addressed everything immediately. Everything I tried on the menu was delicious. There isn’t a lot to do in Habarana, but it’s a great location to stay if you want to visit the cave temple, Sigiriya, Miniriya and Polonnaruwa. The first three are less than 30 mins away. Polonnaruwa was a fast hour.

Staying at Sweet Home Tourist Rest turned out to be one of the best decisions we made on our trip to Sri Lanka. It’s rare to find a place that offers both great value and a truly personal touch , but this one does exactly that. Instead of just a room, we had an entire private apartment, including a comfortable living room, which gave us so much space to relax. It was quiet, clean, and located in a peaceful part of town, making it easy to rest and recharge between our adventures. And considering the price, it felt like an absolute steal. What really made this stay unforgettable were the authentic experiences arranged by the hosts. Nilukshan helped us explore some of Sri Lanka’s most iconic sites with thoughtfully organized tours, the Wilpattu safari was stunning, and our visits to Anuradhapura and Mihintale gave us a deep appreciation for the country’s culture and history. Everything was well-timed, smooth, and stress-free. We also had the chance to join a Sri Lankan cooking class with Malsha, which ended up being one of our favorite memories. The class was fun, hands-on, and filled with flavor, we left not just with full stomachs, but with recipes and techniques we can take home with us. If you’re looking for more than just a place to sleep, if you want comfort, authenticity, and connection this is the place. Can’t recommend it highly enough!

Habarana Dulwan Guest House encontra-se a 12 km de Ruínas do Mosteiro Ritigala e apresenta acomodações com um jardim, um terraço e serviço de quartos, para sua conveniência. Everything, you reach the place and you know immediately that you will have a great time and you will chill. Hosts are amazing, helpful they guy took me to sigiriya with his tuk tuk for a very cheap price. They will help you with everything since they speak very good English and they are amazing people. The room was huge woth 3 beds, super clean, smells unbelievable and it has sockets plugs, hot water and a table to put your luggage so you don't habe to bend. AC is provided. Bathroom was also big and clean. I loved the outside area with all these wood chairs tables and sofas. The breakfast was very good and a big portion. I wish I could have stayed longer since it's a place you can relax and enjoy. Habarana is so authentic and not touristic, nice people, friendly and affordable place to stay and I definitely suggest spending a few days here.
