I loved the friendliness and helpfulness of the host and his family. He was able to help us arrange transportation to/from the guesthouse and also the safari jeep. The location is very quiet despite being by the main road. It’s located some distance from the safari but still relatively close by. we managed to see the elephant and even a leopard! The room itself was clean and well planned, all the basic amenities were provided for us.

The stay at Corner Cottage was the highlight of our trip. This young couple is welcoming and energetic to create an exceptional yet homey experience for tourists. Make sure you request dinner! Amazing food and with a tuk tuk on site it was so convenient to get a ride to the bus and our own tour!

The breakfast was excellent and tasty. My family enjoyed the breakfast. Just a suggestion that coffee be served rather than tea and milk be provided too.

We checked for Safari in a few hours, and all was arranged quick and swiftly! Safari was good, as we saw a lot of elephants 🐘 Small and cosy place with 3 different rooms, but large rooms with everything you need here. AC, ventilator above the bed, firm mattrass, clean bathroom.

VISU VILLA hotel se găsește în Habarana, la 10 km de Stânca Pidurangala, și are o piscină în aer liber, o grădină, un lounge comun și parcare privată gratuită. The best and affordable place to stay in Habarana. I recommend warmly the Visu villa hotel. The host are very nice and friendly.

Staying at Sweet Home Tourist Rest turned out to be one of the best decisions we made on our trip to Sri Lanka. It’s rare to find a place that offers both great value and a truly personal touch , but this one does exactly that. Instead of just a room, we had an entire private apartment, including a comfortable living room, which gave us so much space to relax. It was quiet, clean, and located in a peaceful part of town, making it easy to rest and recharge between our adventures. And considering the price, it felt like an absolute steal. What really made this stay unforgettable were the authentic experiences arranged by the hosts. Nilukshan helped us explore some of Sri Lanka’s most iconic sites with thoughtfully organized tours, the Wilpattu safari was stunning, and our visits to Anuradhapura and Mihintale gave us a deep appreciation for the country’s culture and history. Everything was well-timed, smooth, and stress-free. We also had the chance to join a Sri Lankan cooking class with Malsha, which ended up being one of our favorite memories. The class was fun, hands-on, and filled with flavor, we left not just with full stomachs, but with recipes and techniques we can take home with us. If you’re looking for more than just a place to sleep, if you want comfort, authenticity, and connection this is the place. Can’t recommend it highly enough!

The Sunhill looks good, is sparkly clean, has really comfortable beds and large bathrooms, and it's in a beautiful, quiet location, where the only sounds you'll hear at night will be the many birds on the lake lagoons nearby. What's more, Mr.Palitha and his family are amazing people that did everything and beyond to help me and make me feel welcome. The host also provided completely optional tuk-tuk tours to attractions in town and nearby (at very reasonable prices). There are plenty of shops and eateries and even a laundry place, within short walking distances. Can't recommend this place enough!
