Very friendly and willing to help with anything. Kitchen closes at 6pm (at least on the day we were there) but they made delicious dinner for us at 7:30 pm. We had a top floor room with stunning views and a very comfortable bed. Accommodation is next to the road so can be a bit noisy at night.

My stay at Corner Cottage will remain a positive memory of my time in Sri Lanka. Gihan and his wife truly care for all of their guests, looking after their wellbeing and also allowing for independence and privacy. It felt to nice to be well cared for, especially when traveling alone. Gihan can help arrange tours and activities and will take you himself in his Tuk Tuk when available. They have bikes for hire and I enjoyed riding all around Anuradhapura a couple of times. Their food is amazing! In the past they owned a restaurant and it shows. A huge variety and the best food I’ve had in Sri Lanka. I am gluten intolerant and they were very accommodating to my diet. You can tell they care a lot about their business, investing in it and caring for their clients. Extend your stay, you won’t regret it. There’s much to see In Anuradhapura and you’ll not want to leave Corner Cottage.

They organized an amazing safari for me, making the experience completely hassle-free. The location is perfect, offering a serene and picturesque setting that feels like a true escape into nature. The Sri Lankan food served here was exceptional – fresh, flavorful, and authentic. This is an ideal place for anyone visiting Wilpattu National Park. Highly recommended for the location, hospitality, and overall experience!

We had an amazing experience in Wikpattu Mooklan Resort! The owner and his son were taking care of us all the time and organized a great safari! It was a full day trip at a very affordable price, We managed to see 3 leopards, bear, elefant, crocodiles, tones of deers, and many, many other species of mammals, reptiles and birds. At night we could hear a lot of animals and it was an extremely peaceful time. The food was delicious and made with love. Absolutely recommended place!

Kalhara was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond—organizing a cultural evening, a great safari trip, and arranging tuk-tuks at fair prices. He helped with everything before, during, and after our stay. The guesthouse was clean, comfortable, and surrounded by nature. The breakfast was also very good! Highly recommended!

Host (Ruwan) works hard to accommodate any need/request and makes great recommendations for local tours/attractions. We especially enjoyed the cultural dance and the (free!) local spice tour. Breakfast and overall vibe were great! This eco-lodge is next to the jungle, expect to be right up with nature, which is part of the experience!
