You will find a 24-hour front desk at the property. This apartment looked the most like a hotel compared to all other house stays we've been at. Very pleasant hosts clean rooms and modern bathrooms. Breakfast is also very nice. Hosts helped us in organizing trips, told us real prices and prevented scams. If you don't know what to do, I would go to the for an advice. Situated in Nuwara Eliya and only 3.8 km from Gregory Lake, Shevyhaws features accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The accommodation provides airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. First of all, the room is clean, comfy and spacious. There is a common space to enjoy coffee and tea. The breakfast was above expectations, good quantity and the taste was fantastic. Then the hosts are amazing. Their recommendations are super valuable. Chami the host drove us around and spent a lot of time with us. To be honest it felt amazing to have such a welcoming host and we felt very lucky to have that experience. It was maybe one of our best days in Sri Lanka. If you're arriving they can offer a pick up for a small fee. We're already looking forward to our next visit! We will not only come back as guest but also as friends.

The host, Paramesh, is a very polite, well spoken gentleman. He was keen to assist as much or as little as we wanted.

The guest house features family rooms. This place was incredible. Absolutely amazing. The facilities were firstly incredible. You could use the kitchen and they had free tea and coffee. The views are unbelievable and the owner and staff are so kind and lovely. You feel so safe there. We didn't leave the place for 2 days it was that nice.

The property has garden views. The guest house features family rooms. Loved the view from the balcony, the hot water shower was the hottest with the highest pressure in all of Sri Lanka! The food that they cooked up was some of the best I've had in Sri Lanka, especially the mushroom curry.

Rajith is an amazing host, always happy to share all the helpful informations and easily reachable by phone when you need him. His place is adorable. Him and his family will make you a beautiful breakfast using the food from their garden. it takes ~45min to get to the city by foot or ~10 by tuktuk which will cost you 2$. Nuwara Eliya is probably the most beautiful place in Sri Lanka, so it is really nice to walk and enjoy the landscapes during the daylight. We would come back anytime!

The units are equipped with a flat-screen TV with streaming services, a kettle, a walk-in shower, a hair dryer and a desk. Some units include a terrace and/or a balcony with mountain or lake views. At the guest house, all units are fitted with bed linen and towels. The attentive service and all-round comfort that the Edgware offers were a great way to cap off my wonderful time in Sri Lanka. All the staff, including Lukshan and Ishan were very welcoming, and did their best to make me feel at home throughout my stay. It was nice to have some good conversations with them. I had the opportunity to get an upgrade to a beautifully appointed and spacious room equipped with a high-roofed loft space, which gave off ski chalet vibes. While it was cold and damp for much of my time in Nuwara Eliya, inside it always felt warm and cosy, with nice touches like a virtual fireplace and a heater in my room. They also serve delicious food, including a superb Sri Lankan breakfast and a wide variety of dishes to choose from on their dinner menu, and offered complimentary tea/coffee and cake upon my arrival and when i got back after a morning out. Also they packed a nice breakfast for me for me to collect early in the morning when i headed out to Horton Plains.

When arriving in the village.. someone waited for us and wanted to help us guide to the stay. Eventually,. We found out it was our host!.. incredibly friendly and helpful in everything! Rooms are good, Oke shower and a very nice breakfast after the hike! -
