Beautiful room. Very clean and no smell at all! The bed is really comfy and the blanket keeps you warm during the night (it’s getting cold in Nuwara Eliya during the night, so you need it!). Breakfast is huge and really delicious. The owner is really cute.

The house is a 110 years old, British structure with high beam ceilings. It is located near the city town by tuktuk, 25 minutes walk to the lovers leap waterfall. After a long train ride from Colombo, booking this homestay is the most wise decision i did! The house is super clean and quiet. The room is so spacious and smells amazing! Bath towels and warm blankets are there. The bathroom is super clean and there’s a hot shower which very amazing as the weather here is cold! The owner are supeeeer kind, he give a tuktuk ride and tea factory tour with a very reasonable price . By the way he can pick you up from the train station with a very fair price plus he’ll keep stopping every beautiful view to explain the place and let you indulge the beauty of their town. The wife prepared the breakfast and it is super delicious! I highly recommend this for family or group of friends! Worth every penny!

The host is very friendly and helpful in planning your activities, transfer to Nanu Oya, Tea factory or the waterfalls. Even helped out to reach the doctor when I was in need of some health care. The accommodation is clean and comfortable, I would recommend this guesthouse!

It was our best accommodation in Sri Lanka so far! The room and bathroom were clean, the water warm, the view from the balcony spectacular. The bed was big and comfy as well. The host was very kind and hospitable, he helped us with renting the scooter, prepared very tasty breakfasts with fresh fruits and even checked on us after we left for the further travelling :) the contact was unproblematic, right after we arrived we were given the numbers (phone and WhatsApp) that we can contact anytime we need something.

Loved the view from the balcony, the hot water shower was the hottest with the highest pressure in all of Sri Lanka! The food that they cooked up was some of the best I've had in Sri Lanka, especially the mushroom curry.

The property was exceptionally clean, neat, and tidy. The landlord was very attentive, and the hospitality was outstanding. I have nothing to complain about—truly one of the best places you can find if you're visiting Nuwara Eliya.

We have just stayed at Water Side Residence for one night to climb the Adam‘s Peak. The location is only a 5 mins walk away from the entrance of Adam’s peak trail. Rooms are clean and providing everything you need. Ruwan and his wife are the most welcoming hosts always making sure you are comfortable and providing very delicious and home cooked food in their cafeteria. We can especially recommend the coconut roti which was the best of our trip so far. Ruwan also took care of the pick-up from Hatton station same as the transport to Nuwara Eliya and both drives were including stops for nice photo shoots. We can definitely recommend staying here! :)

Large clean rooms with large bathrooms! Nice hot pressure water with a large bar of soap provided. Super friendly and helpful host who can answer any questions about hiking Sri Pada and transport logistics after. So so close to the start of the Sri Pada trail head. Delicious Sri Lankan and western breakfasts. Close to everything you need. Love the cute cat and fishes! I’m glad we stayed in Dalhousie, has a festive vibe because of the pilgrimage.
