The manager was incredibly attentive, always stopping by our table or greeting us when we passed by to ensure everything was perfect with our stay. This thoughtful attention made us feel truly cared for and welcome. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere of the villa was so peaceful. If you're looking for a cozy and hospitable place to stay near Sigiriya, Sunshine Villa is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended!

Situated near Kandy Museum and Sri Dalada Maligawa, Terrace Kandy is in Kandy and features free private parking and a restaurant. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The property is 2.6 km from Bogambara Stadium, and within less than 1 km of the city centre. The room was super clean, with large and very comfortable beds. The bathroom was excellent, with its own shower tray and glass screen – not the typical Sri Lankan style where the whole floor gets wet. This made it much more comfortable for us as Europeans. The staff were very friendly, and the breakfast was delicious. The only small point is that to reach the city center you need to take a tuk-tuk, but that was not a problem for us.

Everything was just as promised. There were no other guests that night so I had the living room and verandah to myself. Everything went as expected.

The location does require a tuk tuk in and out of Kandy central but you can down load the pick me app to get local rates to keep costs down. Excellent stay and highly recommended.

The whole family were hospitable and ready to help us in anyway. The father would take us & pick us up in his tuk tuk. We loved it so much that we stayed an extra day. There was a small kitchenette, tea, coffee and a fridge.

Situated in Kandy with Kandy railway station nearby, Smile Hub Kandy -Youth Hostel- features accommodation with free private parking. The property has mountain and city views, and is 2.6 km from Bogambara Stadium. Kandy City Center Shopping Mall is 2.8 km from the guest house and Kandy Royal Botanic Gardens is 3.7 km away. This felt like the perfect place to rest in busy Kandy. Even though it’s slightly far from the center, it’s super easy (and cheap) to access by bus or tuktuk. The room was super comfortable, good shower (above average), free laundry (amazing) and a kitchen very well equipped, with some books available as well. Yama is very nice and helpful! Really recommend this place

The traditional restaurant at the guest house serves Asian cuisine, and is open for dinner and lunch. Excellent place, excellent staff, excellent location. We loved the food, very tasty and prepared with care. Breakfast was full of variety every day. Hosts were very kind and eager to help. We couldn't be happier, absolute value, would recommend to anybody without reservations.
