Staff were ready to help at a moment’s notice and ready to fix anything for me. They helped book affordable transport and outings to Pidurangala rock and Minneriya Park. They weren’t upset when I said the WiFi wasn’t fast enough or the eggs were too salty— they helped me fix the problems immediately and I had fast WiFi and tasty eggs! Beautifully restored villa with three lovely guest rooms. The owner has used his artistic skills to make this one of the most enchanting boutique property anywhere. The breakfasts were delicious and the location is a short tuk tuk ride to the lake, downtown and nearby restaurants. Even comes with a small pool to cool off in on those hot days. Highly recommended!

Great shower. Had kitchen facilities but we didn't use them. Also washing machine available for free. The area has loads of places to eat at local prices. Recommend Barista coffee a short walk away.

The villa is nestled just 400 meters from the main city street, surrounded by lush paddy fields. The beautifully maintained garden is filled with vibrant plants and flowers, offering plenty of cozy spots to relax—whether in a hammock, at a dining area, or playing table games. Being in the middle of nature, you can expect the delightful sounds of wildlife, including peacocks. It truly adds to the charm of the place. One of the highlights of our stay was the Sri Lankan food. The meals were not only delicious but also generously portioned. I highly recommend skipping outside restaurants and instead asking the staff to prepare dinner for you—you won’t be disappointed!
