It felt to nice to be well cared for, especially when traveling alone. Gihan can help arrange tours and activities and will take you himself in his Tuk Tuk when available. They have bikes for hire and I enjoyed riding all around Anuradhapura a couple of times. Their food is amazing! In the past they owned a restaurant and it shows. A huge variety and the best food I’ve had in Sri Lanka. I am gluten intolerant and they were very accommodating to my diet. You can tell they care a lot about their business, investing in it and caring for their clients. Extend your stay, you won’t regret it. There’s much to see In Anuradhapura and you’ll not want to leave Corner Cottage.

The breakfasts were delicious and the location is a short tuk tuk ride to the lake, downtown and nearby restaurants. Even comes with a small pool to cool off in on those hot days. Highly recommended!

The quality-price ratio is excellent, with clean and comfortable rooms that ensured a relaxed environment. Karu, the owner, was incredibly kind and attentive, going above and beyond to make our experience memorable. He took us on tours to the most interesting places in Kandy, sharing his local insights and making us feel at home. If you're looking for a great place to stay with fantastic hospitality, Mountain View is the perfect choice!

It was very clean, even when you enter the room it smells clean. The hosting family was very friendly and helpful with any advices. The food was homemade and delicious, fruits and juices were made of fresh fruits from the garden. Fantastic value for money.

Its location is convenient for Sigiriya (approximately a 30-minute drive), downtown Dambulla, and the cave temples. The room was comfortable, the amenities worked flawlessly, the garden setting was delightful, and the staff were warm and attentive. The breakfast was delicious and highly recommended! For such a reasonable price, with such a good accommodation and breakfast, and a prime location, it's truly excellent!
