We had an amazing stay at the Makai surf house! The room was spacious with a private bathroom, felt very clean and was nicely air conditioned. The staff were exceptional, so friendly and helpful. We rented motorbikes and they gave us good guidance on what to do in the area. The location is super peaceful and away from the hustle of Ahangama, so probably best to have a motorbike (although we also walked to the beach & cafes).

This place was way better than expected-the room was HUGE, the bed large and comfortable, the ac crisp and the wifi fast. The owners are very kind also! Would definitely stay here again and can’t recommend it enough!

Saman Beach Guest House har en god beliggenhed i centrum af Galle og har en have og gratis privat parkering samt gratis wi-fi overalt. This is an absolutely wonderful place to stay! In terms of location and being right on the beach, you can't ask for more, we loved it. The room was exceptionally clean and we really appreciated having a little fridge too, which was a nice surprise. The breakfast was very tasty, and Saman and his family looked after us during our stay. We have stayed in seven different places so far whilst in Sri Lanka, and this one is in our top two.
