As we arrived late, we just slipped into our beautiful and comfortable bed in the bedroom surrounded by antic furniture. Tomorrow morning we were just amazed by the garden's mango, jackfruit, coconut, beatiful flowers, peacocks in the tree. The host led us through their garden before the large and delicious home-made breakfast.

Location is great, rooms are brand new, and besides the family running the house is amazing.

The room was clean, hot water, A/C was working. The breakfast was very good. If you have any preferences in the way of cooking, you can ask the guys and they will try to do all the best for you. The beach is very nice and empty. Nothing to do around, but if you are exhausted and want just to have a rest in peace and quiet-this is the perfect place for you.

Location was superb.Breakfast very delicious.

Set in Hikkaduwa, 100 metres from Narigama beach and 17 km from Galle International Cricket Stadium, Alvas house offers air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi. With garden views, this accommodation provides a balcony. Outdoor seating is also available at the guest house. Susanna and Tusharo (please excuse me if I’m misspelling the names :) were wonderful hosts. Welcoming and informative. It really felt like our own house. Spotless clean, equipped with everything a traveler needs, beautiful nature around, a garden well kept. Another great thing is the hosts really care about animals and Tusharo shared fascinating information about the connection local people share with the sea turtles (we got lucky and swam with them). The beach has some great surf. Would love to come back and stay more.
