Lovely balcony view and super spacious room, English-style breakfast was a real treat (since we have been having local style breakfast everyday for a long time), Helpful staff, and we enjoyed the property is a very walkable to the lake. Although the property seems to be high up, actually it is very pleasant for us to walking especially taking a stroll after dinner around the lake …

Featuring views of the pool, all units in the property come with private entrance and a pool with a view. A terrace with an outdoor dining area and mountain views is offered in each unit. At the guest house, all units are equipped with bed linen and towels. we loved how the place was designed meticulously by the owner himself. The room is cozy, quiet , surrounded by greens. AC works fine. The owners are friendly and approachable. They recommend us things to do in Kandy as well as easy way to catch the train.

The house is clean and fresh, a home away from home. Raj is a gem of a man! Knowledgeable and helpful in your needs. You could say he's sweeter than the sweetest tea. 🍵 The location is away from the busy centre which makes for a relaxing retreat. The housekeeper he has is friendly and the breakfast is served with a smile and is finger licking good. If you need anything like you're laundry doing then the team are happy to help. I arrived drained and I left mystified! ✨️

The property has mountain and city views, and is 2.6 km from Bogambara Stadium. Kandy City Center Shopping Mall is 2.8 km from the guest house and Kandy Royal Botanic Gardens is 3.7 km away. The room was spacious and had very nice views of Kandy. The washing machine which was free to use was a huge plus and it was nice having access to a kitchen. Location was also very good and to get into the city centre you could catch the bus for only 30 rupees!!

Best dinner in Sri Lanka. Best breakfast and views. Best massage. This is my favorite hotel in Sri Lanka.

With inner courtyard views, this accommodation provides a terrace. Ceylon Tea Museum is 5.8 km from the homestay and Kandy Royal Botanic Gardens is 6.8 km away. It's a charming old house with relatively basic, but clean and comfortable accommodation. Madam is a welcoming host who sat with us and chatted over breakfast. None of the positive reviews mention the train line behind the house and indeed, on our first morning I was woken at 5am by a train going past (6am the next morning). I can't say it bothered me and it didn't wake my wife. Some negative reviews say there are better value places for the same price. I can assure you that's not our experience in Kandy. Believe the positive reviews and add the morning train and you'll have a good idea of the place.
