Definitely we will come back next year.

The rooms are very spacious and very clean. They overlook a very pretty garden. The breakfast is very good and abundant. We had rice with curry and chicken for dinner there, which was a delight. The staff was very attentive. They picked us up at the station and helped us arrange the motorcycle rental. Very friendly. It's a great place.

We liked everything - the room, the food, the location … Breakfast is really good (and very much) and the owner also cooked dinner for us once which was also delicious. Another day they took us to Sigiriya to go to a restaurant and also picked us up again afterwards. Really nice!

The breakfasts and dinner were outstanding , Mahdu is a fantastic cook and there was so much delicious food! The location was excellent and the park grounds just beautiful! Highly recommend

This place is really a great place to stay when you want to see the Lion rock. All the staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast included is also a bonus.

Definitely one of my favorite stays i had while travelling through SriLanka. Bathroom was above the standard that we were used to within SriLanka, AC worked perfectly and the bed was very comfortable too. But what has made this Acoomodation so perfect was definitely the host family! They were so kind and prepared a very authentic and yummy breakfast for us. We also decided to have dinner (which you pay additionally but best price-performance ratio you could ask for), where they prepared 6 different dishes for us and we regretted that we didn't spent another night to taste that food again.

Garden where you can see alle kinds of animals is amazing (even elephants come to the garden at some nights and it's not allowed to go to the garden at night. One elephant came when we were there!). Home made sri lankan breakfast is tasty and plentiful. Host family is super nice and warm. We liked the location just few minutes walk away from the main area of Sigiriya village. There is also few restaurants (S.L. Cafe has really good food) / cafes / bars right next to the accommodation, so it's really convinient and you dont' even need to walk to the main areas of the village in the evening, If you don't feel like.
