The room was simple, but clean and with A/C. WiFi was working fine as well Swimming pool after the day of hiking and sightseeing is exactly what was helpful. Breakfast and dinner were good as well. The personal was very helpful and supportive.

The patties were some of the best I’ve ever had. They also served bananas grown on their own farm, called "Naga bananas." I was surprised by their rich, sticky texture. Whenever I asked for help with things I wanted to do or places I wanted to visit, they immediately made arrangements. They were incredibly reliable and helpful. Also, their child was so cute—it was very heartwarming.

We reached the hotel too early in the morning (it was around 7 a.m.) and the guy who was at the reception was super kind and went to clean and prepare the room for us. It is one of the best places I have stayed in all of Sri Lanka. You are in the middle of nature and once you come back from climbing the rock it is a haven of peace. The rooms are very rustic but charming. They have built them themselves. And now the most important part, the family. I have no words to describe their kindness and hospitality. The man always worried that I would not lack anything. He took me with his motorbike to a medicinal plant garden and also to Pidurangaya and the famous Sigiriya rock. A great person with a big heart. And let's talk about the meals, dinner and breakfast of great quality and quantity. They know how to pamper their customers with details, like a fruit juice. They will never say no. They also wash your clothes. In summary: highly recommended for the human warmth that you breathe and the good treatment you receive. The best place in Sigiriya and almost all of Sri Lanka.

Amazing stay! I l strongly recommend this place to any traveler looking for some relaxing atmosphere. The family was very nice and super helpful in helping me to plan my stay. They provided very useful recommendations and help with ordering tuktuk. The food was the best I had in Sri Lanka so far, highly recommend to enjoy your dinner there. The room was very nice and clean, AC, huge bathroom. The garden was very pretty. The guesthouse is located a bit outside of the main road but the village is accessible by foot. Last but not least, I did the safari with the owner, which was one of the best experience I had. Safari was in Hurulu Forest Reserve, a very nice forest, and we saw lots of (baby) elephants. Highly recommended!

Very clean, well-equipped and comfortable cottages side by side set in a beautiful garden with cheeky monkeys hopping from tree to tree whilst you eat breakfast al fresco. It was worth paying more to stay at this place. Garden full of birds, squirrels, peacocks. Very relaxing and quiet and private. Spotlessly clean and air-conditioned. Bathroom products supplied, a small fridge and tea and coffee and water. Host couldn't do enough for us, gave helpful advice, drove us around for a low fee, and was attentive and kind. Breakfast was plentiful with fresh juice, fruits, hoppers and Dahl. Highly recommend. Also, for dinner, I can recommend Mom's Kitchen across the road for their Sri Lankan curry only 1100 rupees.

It was by far the cleanest and more beautifully decorated room in our 10 day stay in the country.Very close to Sigiriya Rock and basically in the jungle,is located in a very beautiful environment. The sweet old lady with her daughter are very friendly and they made us feel like at home. Breakfast and dinner simple,but tasty.
