The location is amazing, quiet but very close to the beach. The room is very spacious and very nice. The outdoor bathroom was the biggest selling point. The lady that owns it is SUPER nice.

What we particularly loved about the hotel (apart from the amazing spacious rooms and the delicious (vegetarian) food) was that it is Che’s family home and has such a friendly and calming vibe :) it’s only a short walk to local restaurants and bars and Madiha’s main beach is also only a few minutes away. The room is beautifully designed and was kept spotlessly clean throughout our stay!

Located within 200 metres of Mirissa Beach and 34 km of Galle International Cricket Stadium, The Wave's Guest House provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Mirissa. There is an on-site restaurant and free private parking. The accommodation features airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. The place is run by a Sri lankan family that took care of all our needs and were very friendly also the owner of the guest house is a tuk tuk driver so you can talk to him if you need a ride somewhere . Breakfast is great , location is good (next to many restaurants and coffee places and a beach). The room is very nice . Thank you Hiran for everything!

Saman and his family are very welcoming hosts, the property is beautiful — you stay in the middle of the jungle with a fascinating panoramic view. Don’t hesitate to order a Sri Lankan breakfast — it’s delicious! Also I would like to mention the exciting jungle tour we had with Saman and his friends. Saman organizes unique tours — you start at one entrance and exit from another one, so you don’t go one way twice. During the tour he tells you a lot of interesting things about the nature and animals around you. Even though 14 km through the jungle can be challenging, it’s an exciting experience!
