This is an absolutely lovely property. It is tastefully designed, every detail is considered, the rooms are clean and Big, the bathroom is finished with all needed and clean and modern (felt quite good to bé again in a level of comfort and cleaness closer to our life back home). The food is good, I particularly Liked the cinnamon tea they served as you arrive. We did the spice trail.on the property very informative. Really a great stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was lovely, the place was friendly and we had a great time. Great communication between Sam’s place and us before we travelled ensuring all our needs were met when we arrived. They were very helpful and provided us with information and recommendations for things to do in the area. I would recommend and we will be booking again soon. Thank you Sam!

Nobel Regency está ubicado en Bibile, a 46 km de Parque Nacional Maduru Oya, y ofrece alojamiento con un jardín, estacionamiento privado gratis y una terraza. A bit hard to find, behind some shops and apartments, you have to go under the building through, well, a short tunnel really. Maps is fairly accurate so just look for a gap in the building. On the other side is an old house which is the Nobel Regency which should have seemed "hemmed in" by the apartments, but it wasn't as it is set in lovely gardens with many plants. It's an old house with old furniture, retro but very comfortable. Multiple common areas both inside and outside. I had a very big room with a huge bathroom which was original to the house and dated, a bit of a time-warp really, but very clean and perfectly comfortable. Good a/c and fan. Hot water and good water pressure. Comfortable bed. I was hot and tired from my motorbike journey and the staff were exceptionally welcoming and friendly. They bought me a welcome drink. After I had showered, I asked for tea and a snack, and they bought me fruit and then tea and cake on the verandah. Nothing was too much trouble. I sat and read a book and they kept checking that I was comfortable and had everything that I wanted. I did notice that one of the rooms was small because they had added an en-suite bathroom in a sort of prefabricated unit inside the room. That seemed a bit unusual. But I suppose it is perfectly functional. It is an inexpensive place to stay. Very good Sri Lankan curries and rice dinner, fruit and dessert. Breakfast was also very good. This was a perfect choice for me. I didn't explore the town as I was only on a stopover for one night, and I left early the next morning. It was very comfortable with good food and fantastic hosts.

Muy bonito lugar alejado de ruidos, en plena jungla pero a 100m de una carretera sin apenas tráfico. El anfitrión, Michael, es una persona muy especial además de excelente cocinero. A remarcar que es el único guía en el pueblo para subir al monte Maragala. Una subida exigente para aquellos que les gusta la montaña. Una caminata que te llevará todo el día, 6 horas para ascender (con sus paradas para refrescarse y tomar un agua de coco), y 4 horas de descenso. Para un paseo corto, hay un mirador a 30 minutos caminando desde la propiedad, que está muy bonito. También está muy bien ubicado para hacer una parada yendo o regresando de Arugam Bay y disfrutar de una cena 10.
