This place is incredible :) our best accomodation in Sri Lanka. View is spectacular, we can see Ravana waterfall from bed. Room is very clean, cosy, owners thought about everything: hot shower, fridge, cool glasses and water, shampoo and shower gel, we can use even hairdryer here! Tasty, local breakfast, juices, coffee. Very kind and helpful owners, we felt very comfortable and spent fantastic time here. Highly recommend! Thank you for having us 🌸

This is where you stay if you want the best view possible of Ella. It’s simply amazing!!!!! Our balcony (from the top apartment) faced this glorious view and it was more beauty than one could take in! The room was spacious, clean, very comfortable and new. Everything needed is there including a small fridge and sitting area. Shower was great with hot water. Breakfast patio facing the glorious view - serving great breakfast. Bed was big and comfortable. Service was perfect. And the quiet was lovely with only jungle noises. Also on a clear night the sky was full of stars and on a clear morning the sunrise was incredible (we felt no need to climb at sunrise given the balcony view.) A rare find in Sri Lanka, truly a gem.

I stayed one night at Winwood, but it was a wonderful experience. The place is clean, lovingly maintained by the owners. We chose to have dinner on the balcony terrace, and it was very pleasant. The food was amazing, as was breakfast. Thank you once again!

Great location 8 min walk into busy town and its hidden away where it’s quieter. Great terrace overlooking a stunning view. Super close to attractions like Adams peak and nine arch bridge aswell. The lovely man running this place took such good care of us , loved a chat , brought us Sri Lankan snacks and made us such a great (huge) breakfast every morning. Hoppers and coconut roti so yum! Room feels fancy 5 star hotel , comfy bed , hot water from shower. Great price Definitely can’t recommend this place enough if you’re in Ella ❤️🙏

This time we chose a wonderful modern hotel, not far from the Adisham monastery. For my wife and me, this place is one of the best in Sri Lanka. Beautiful nature around, where you can climb the mountains and walk among the tea plantations. No crowds of tourists like in Ella, you can only see tea pickers and local women with bundles of firewood on their heads. We had a very nice room with a large balcony, huge floor-to-ceiling windows and a fantastic view of the mountains and lakes. The visibility from the window is more than 50 km. There is a table in the room to work on the computer. The hotel offers excellent breakfasts and dinners. The choice of dishes is simply huge, you don’t often see this in most hotels in Sri Lanka. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Thanks to Hashan that everything is perfectly organized and working, for his willingness to help in any situation. The hotel left the best impressions, we will definitely come back again
