The food was excellent, and the safari experience we did with them too. They were very flexible to adapt things for us because of our 3 year old child. One of the best places we stayed in our 1month travel in Sri Lanka.

After changing our plans and coming to Udawalawe a night earlier than planned (and in need of some luxury), this place was exactly what we needed. The hosts were so friendly, the buffet dinner was delicious and great value and the swimming pool was amazing. They organise safari for us with easy and served breakfast on return. The rooms were well sized and comfy. Would 100% Recommend!

He organised a safari for us and included breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Safari was super nice, we had a private jeep and a private tour guide. He showed us the most beautiful spots and managed to find a lot of elephants!! We even saw a 2 month old baby elephant with his mum. It was an experience to remember forever.

There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk and parking on-site. The owner was kind and personable. Very hospitable and lovely room with big, comfortable bed . The bathroom was big and the hot water was consistent . Absolutely fantastic. Thumbs up !

Located 17 km from Udawalawe National Park, Mango Tree House offers air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. The guest house features family rooms as well as facilities for disabled guests. Wonderful place to stay to enjoy Udawalawe Park owned by a welcoming couple. The bungalows are large, clean, and beautifully constructed. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio in the evening and showering in the outdoor waterfall shower. We were greeted with tea and cake. Dinner is spectacular vegetarian Sri Lankan cuisine. Go for the tours offered by the hosts as well. They are great. We did a 4 hour morning safari and saw many elephants, often without other jeeps around, as well as loads of birds, plus water buffalo and a crocodile. All in all, a wonderful operation. Perfect one night stop for your time in Udawalawe.

Both a bicycle rental service and a car rental service are available at the accommodation, while cycling can be enjoyed nearby. Dasun, his family and friends are really nice people. They helped us to organise tha safari, the driver was also absolutely nice with us, we had a great trip. Dasun's mom made us always a huge and extremely good meal. The cottage was also really nice and comfortable. We absolutely recommend the place!:)
