Featuring a garden and views of garden, Mailagama Cinnamon Residence is a recently renovated guest house set in Kataragama, 21 km from Situlpawwa. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The guest house also offers free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. We like the people, especially the manager Inbaraj, who is a great and kind man. He showed us the cinnamon plantations and explained how everything is used, he was so kind. We liked the dinner, the best chicken curry we tried so far in Sri Lanka, also there was a desert, we liked a lot. The room was clean, sanitized, everything was great, the view from our room was great. Mr. Inbaraj also treat us with the best papaya juice, coffee and the plantation harvests. We are so grateful and happy that we choose this place for our stay in Yala. The place is also near the Yala park, which was great as well.

Spotlessly clean, very comfortable, AC rooms and the hospitality of Priya makes it the best! He helped us arrange the safari in Yala, took us bird and crocodile watching in the evening 😊 and picked us up and dropped us at the bus station. Can’t wait to be back, thanks Priya!

Loved this stay, the treehouse was adorable and the hosts were incredibly kind. We got vegetarian dinner and it was delicious. They helped us arrange two amazing safaris as well, I wish we had more time

When we reached at the evening, we saw some peacock roaming around outside. We immediately went to them. This was an awe inspiring experience. The owner and his wife were amazing. Very friendly and helpful. They arrange the Yala safari for us. She also made us a lot of breakfast - was very tasty. We were lucky to saw a leopard in the safari. The driver was very helpful and show us more places than usual. The place is really beautiful. And we will miss the dog Chango who was very much playful and very unhappy when we left. It was just a night yet we will miss this place.
