Everything was great. We had a much appreciated upgrade. The double room was spacious and with a nice view. The terrace has panoramic views of the city despite being in a flat area, you can see the surrounding mountains and blue houses and you also have breakfast there which is a buffet made freshly. A big plus was the in-property parking which is not easy to find in Chefchaouen which is very convenient for luggage. Location was excellent, only a few minutes walk to the Kasbah and old medina. Wifi was good. All amenities available and we were given a hairdryer upon request. There’s a restaurant right in the front of the door.

Very friendly staff, good rooms, good breakfast, good location and good price. Also recommend checking out the Cielo nearby for lunch.

I recently stayed at Riad Chengli in April and had a fantastic experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable. Their helpfulness made a significant difference, providing great recommendations for local attractions and dining. The room was clean, spacious, well-appointed, equipped and offering all the comforts I needed. The bed also was lined with electric blanket to make sure my comfort during the cold night. The riad’s location was perfect, many local restaurants nearby and not far from the main road for transportations, making it easy to explore nearby sights. I also enjoyed the delicious breakfast in the morning, which was a great way to start the day. The staff, alongside the owner, made sure everything was perfect. I highly recommend this riad for anyone looking for a friendly and accommodating place to stay.
