The place is managed by a berber family, who made our stay perfect: nice welcoming, amazing dinner and breakfast, and finally nice guided tour of the near ziz valley until the old kasbah. This is a great place to stay in Agoudal, El-habib is truly an excellent host. He cooked us a really delicious meal, one of the best we've had in our time in Morocco. He also made us feel welcome and gave us an insight into life in Agoudal. Overall we had a great experience here and we'd totally recommend it.

Our stay was truly memorable, thanks to the wonderful staff and excellent facilities. The food was exceptional, making our group of 13 feel right at home. Initially as we were driving through the dark roads to what felt like the middle of nowhere, we had some concerns about choosing a place in a small village. However, upon our late-night arrival, we were warmly welcomed. We brought our dinner with us as we had enough of Tajine; they were extremely kind to provide us with fresh orange juice to accompany our meal. The next morning, we were greeted by breathtaking views of the palm oasis, and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast - fresh avocados, salads, and traditional Moroccan dishes. We enjoyed hiking to the nearby mountains and exploring the beautiful palm groves. I also want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Khira (I hope I spelled that correctly), who went above and beyond during a challenging moment. When my daughter became ill during the night, Khira was incredibly helpful. She accompanied us to the hospital, assisted with translations, and supported us throughout the entire process, all while maintaining a positive and kind demeanor. The next morning, despite her long night, she was back to her regular routine. We are extremely grateful for her assistance. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a stay in the area.

The stay here with my family was absolutely amazing. We stopped here to break up the drive from Fes to Merzouga and it was our favorite place in all of Morocco. Its location is beautiful and the place was so cozy and comfortable. The food was delicious and for an unbeatable price. And the best part of the stay was when Ismail took time out of his busy schedule to take my family for a beautiful hike through the oasis, Kasbah and mountains. He even brought his donkey up for our kids to spend time with. Luna del fuego was incredible.

The auberge is located in a Palm Grove, which I really love. You can walk out of the door and instantly being in a palmerie that is quiet, beautiful, and exotic.

The riad is right on the edge of the dunes, making it perfect for sunset walks and incredible photo opportunities. We were warmly welcomed and really well looked after throughout our stay. The hosts gave us great tips on what to do in Merzouga and helped make everything easy. The food was amazing so definitely have dinner here. Our room was absolutely huge, beautifully decorated, cool, and spotless. It was the perfect place to stay in Merzouga!

The village is extraordinary, I came in autumn and the colours were amazing. The scenery and landscape is breathtaking and dream-like. The host is exceptionally kind and welcoming. I planned to stay 1 night and ended up spending two so that I could explore the local area and caves. The rooms are comfy and have plenty of warm layers in case it gets cold (1700m up after all).
