Even thou it wasn't that cold for this time of year,there was central heating in the house. Our host was very kind and helpful. Zabljak is a small mountain city and is surrounded by stunning nature,mountain Durmitor,lakes and forests. This weekend was beyond our expectations and we'll come back again.

Located in Žabljak, 3.1 km from Black Lake, Old Guest House 1964 provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. Located around 11 km from Viewpoint Tara Canyon, the guest house is also 23 km away from Durdevica Tara Bridge. The kindest host ever! He is a very nice person, very welcoming, caring and gives you advice about the area. It was nice to have a chat with him. Comfortable room with a nice cozy mountain hut atmosphere. The host keeps the accommodation very clean. Access to fridge and kettle which was handy.

Easy, fast check-in. The shower is powerful, has a consistent temperature, and is closed on all four sides, so you don't soak the entire bathroom. Highly recommend it.

Guests at the guest house can enjoy skiing nearby, or make the most of the garden. Everything was absolutely amazing. The accommodation itself and the surrounding area is beautiful but what makes this place special is the people that live on the farm and care for you like you belong to their family. If u stay in the National Park you have to stay here. I never thought I would want to revisit Montenegro but these people made me want to come back.

This is a very rural, oldfashioned place that offers real Montenegrin spirit and hospitability and is located in nature, yet close enough to the town. Rada, the host, is a kind woman who makes you feel like a guest she welcomes to her home. The room and the bathroom are neat and clean, and the bed comfortable so you can have the rest you need after your hikes. The homemade food with organic products is traditional Montenegrin cuisine which is what makes this place special. Definitely a great experience for me. It took me back to my childhood 🫠 I'm already thinking of going back 🙂
