Mr. GiGi and Sonia were amazing hosts and made us comfortable. They gave us every little thing we asked for without hesitating and also helped us with the what all places to go. What we loved the most was that it felt like our own house with so much space and the house was equipped with every little thing you need to survive the out the day. We were touring around the country and preferred warming/cooking inside the house which was extremely convenient for us.

This was an idyllic, quiet place by the beach, beautiful views of sunset, lovely hospitable hosts, delicious breakfast. It exceeded my expectations. Although I had a lat flight out, they graciously allowed me to stay after chckout and even provided access to a shower before I left for the airpot. AAAAA+++++!!!

Lovely room was tastefully decorated, clean and has its own private terrace next to the pool. On top of the building is another terrace with a small pool and amazing views of Le Morne; great for watching sunsets. The owner was quick to respond to our questions and offered tips on what to see and where to eat in the area.

This is a great out-of-the-way location that is still central to all the great activities in this part of Mauritius. The staff were very accomodating and easy to communicate with. And you couldn't have a sweeter guest manager than Praline, who came by to visit us daily.

Both Husband and wife welcome me in the morning and were very kind. The great thing is that you feel safe as they were staying right there and equipped with CCTV. You have also a living room and a terrace to relax and have food with family and friends. They go beyond to make you feel at ease if ever you need something more. Sad i did not use the pool because of time. Will book again for sure.

Featuring an outdoor pool, Happy Days Guest House is located in La Gaulette and 5 minutes' drive from Le Morne and the beach. The property has views of Bénitiers Island. The breakfast is what I usually like to have — good coffee, really good baguette, omelette and some fresh fruits. The place is very clean and well maintained. The owner really likes solid wood furniture. The beds, the dining tables and some others were shipped here from Bali. The hostess Sabrina was also amazing and helped us solve some logistics issues with local vendors.
