Even though it's very close to the busy area's of Puerto Vallarta, once you close the doors of your room you transfer into a serene space where you can rest from the day's activities. Not sure what to do? Ask the host or one of the members of staff. They have been very open and helpful and will give you a very extensive list of things to do and experience in the area. (It does get hot though!) Sometimes they even left some small snacks in the kitchen for everyone to share. I can't think of a better located, more peaceful place. Col Americana is the neighbourhood for expats, it's clean and trendy, lots of restaurants and bars, and the walk to downtown Centro is not far.
