I loved that I was able to hear his stories. Although my stay was short, it was all worth it! I was able to experience all that I wanted, including hiking the Teman Negara (National Park) which is very close to Uncle Tony's place. We also went to the night market. There are bikes that you can use which would only cost you a couple of Ringgits. I also love the two lovely fat cats!! The place is really quiet and away from the bustle of George Town. It is an hour bus ride away, which I don't mind. Food is not a problem, you can easily buy food from the local shops nearby, I love the Nasi Kandar!! There are also Chinese restaurants which sell really good food! The Wi-Fi is also reliable. I was able to work online while staying here. All in all, it was amazing! I am so lucky I found this place! I made new friends and experiences!! Thank you Uncle Tony! You are a good person and I wish that more good people discover your place! I will come back :)

Located within the UNESCO World Heritage Site of George Town, Ren I Tang Heritage Inn is located in a restored building from the 1800s. Spanning an area of 3 shop house units, the property features free WiFi, a restaurant and small museum on the ground floor, which used to be a medical hall. Loved the location and the vibe of the hotel. The staff were extremely nice and welcoming. Room in itself was very cozy and comfortable. Would definitely recommend this to all who are travelling to Penang!

It was nice and had everything you need. Nice touch was the water filter and the common area. Really friendly staff. Would come back.

Rainbow Skywalk at Komtar is less than 1 km from the guest house, while Penang Times Square is a 18-minute walk away. Penang International Airport is 14 km from the property. The villa is amazing! Location wise it is close to the centre and all famous food spots are walkable. The food stalls outside the villa is also awesome. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We spent a fun time playing congkak together. The staff also allowed late check out due to our flight delay. We had a private bathroom to ourselves, which is a treat. Please note some other rooms may have your bathroom outside of your room. In general, we are very satisfied and happy with our room. Will definitely come back next time!!

It felt super secluded, but still with the comforts of being near beach and city, (and for example easy to order grab to). It was the perfect getaway between all the different fruit. We used the common areas a lot, as they were really nice to relax in, but our chalet was also really nice and comfortable. We used the bikes provided to take a trip through the rice paddies to the beach. We walked the hike up to the Thai restaurant with the great view. But we mostly relaxed on the beautiful property, reading, chilling, playing games. The hosts are really kind and it was nothing but a pleasure to stay with them. Really helpful and fun people.
