Stiltz Guest House offers bungalow accommodation built on wooden stilts situated in Swakopmund at the mouth of the Swakop River. The units offer views either of the Atlantic Ocean, the riverbed, sand dunes or of the lagoon. It was awesome and I am so sorry that I stayed only for one night! It was the first night I slept so well in Namibia. Just perfect!

Swakopmund Museum is only 1 km away from the guest house. There are also many bars and restaurants within walking distance from the property. What a secret garden indeed. Great security and the rooms arranged around an internal courtyard were very well equipped and thought through. Our suite with terrace was a self catering apartment; very comfortable with a little lounge and kitchen. Inga was most helpful and booked us into a local restaurant for dinner. There were many lovely pieces of art reflecting her parents as gallery owners. Highly recommended for a stay in Swakopmund which deserved more than a night to explore. Our vehicle was also secure in a parking lot opposite the hotel. Location was great near to the centre but very quiet at night.
