Of particular note, the staff were absolutely terrific, always smiling, friendly, helpful and willing to put in the extra effort to ensure a memorable stay. There was no obvious pecking order of seniority or demarcation of roles which ensured a very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. I would certainly be pleased to stay here again and I can highly recommend Olive Grove to anyone who needs or wants to stay in Windhoek.

The rooms we’re so comfortable, the breakfast tasty, the pool beautiful and relaxing. It was our oasis during a week of intensive work. I would shout my love for sand rose guesthouse from the roof!

It is close to the University of Namibia and thus an ideal place for their guests. I stayed there by recommendation of a colleague for one week while working and then another night at the end of my trip as private solo traveler. The rooms are spacious and clean, a little antique, it fits perfectly with the style. The water is hot, WiFi works comparatively well for Namibia and there is A/C cold/hot. The breakfast is the standard fare, but you may order eggs any style or pancakes (European Style). It is very charming and definitely recommended.
