The sunset with volcano views, near the entrance to the river for kayaking. Beside a happening bar. Mango beach is great too. The toilets and showers were very clean. A magical paradise. The hut was perfectly cute right on the water front.

He always ensures his guests have a great experience. He goes out of his way to seek out information and always ready for a chat. One of the best breakfast I had in this trip so far. On my last day, i left quite early in the morning and Rafa made coffee and got me some snacks to bring for my bus ride. The mattress is so comfortable. Highly recommended!

Everything is nice and beautiful. The location is incredibly nice, the view with the Conception Vulcano is stunning , relaxing in the hamac during the evening and watching the stars on the sky is amazing. The rooms are nice and They are cleaning the room every single day ,changing the bed and towels, that is definitely a plus . Jose , the owner, is really helpful and great, will inform you about everything , tours, transport , what to do and visit. The kitchen is large and well equipped, good organisation. Go for it and you will enjoy it !!

David the Manager of the guesthouse was really nice and helpful and we felt welcomed very much also by the rest of the staff. The garden is a perfect relaxing spot with one of the best views of the island. Breakfast was delicious. Rooms are comfortable, spacious and very clean. We can highly recommend Ananda!

The place has a nice garden full of tropical plants, and an open roofed space with chairs, tables and hammocks. The breakfast was the usual Nicaraguan gallo pinto (rice with black frijoles) with eggs and fried plantains. Tasty. I made my own coffee in the guest kitchen. There are some nice walks from the place to a natural pool, the nearby (1.5 km) Finca Magdalena, and along the lakeshore past Balgue.

Red pepper is the perfect stay for couples. Fairly priced, built with great attention to detail, and managed in a very sustainable way. Everything works perfectly. Tidy rooms, each with its own terrace on top, and a complete kitchen. Mariken and Mark are lovely hosts and we ended up extending our stay. Would really recommend the curry night on Monday and Wednesday; excellent food and affordable prices.

A really nice place one minute walk to a super beautiful beach connected to the property by stairs. The rooms are cosy with a private bathroom. Nicely equiped shared kitchen. There is also a restaurant and a huge terrace with view over the lake and stunning sunsets. Hammocks to chill and cold Toñas to enjoy. I booked for one night but wil stay a few more days. Nice local area with small shops and restaurants in walking distance. Lots of nature and San Ramón waterfal and Maderas volcano both close by. Good WiFi & friendly staff.

Casa Medusa is a very nice little place up on the hill with a fantastic view to both sides. Very friendly and welcoming people. Definitely the right place to chill out. I would go there any time again 👍

The room was just what I needed, a comfortable bed, a nice bathroom with a shower, and a strong fan at a fantastic price! I slept like a baby. Horizonte is on an alley street very close to the beach, and all bars and restaurants, so it was the perfect location - on a quiet street, but close to all of the action. The whole family was very warm and engaging. I will stay again.
