Beautiful views, excellent staff and we loved all the natural beauty of the property. Would stay again on my next visit to Omeptepe. The playa mangos bar and restaurant was wonderful and just a short walk away. We ate breakfast at La Sirenita up top on their covered deck and was delicious. Loved our casita, super comfortable and we slept better than ever. Can't wait to go back. I even had to take an online/interactive 3 hour class for continuing education, and the wifi was excellent the entire time. Sat on my deck overlooking Lake Nicaragua and had a fabulous Zoom class.

I have no bad thing to say about this hostel. Yes it could look like a normal private room hostel, but the way we felt staying at Rafa’s hostel was so amazing, that we came back two more times. Everything was great, even if there was a minor inconvenience, Rafa helped us in seconds. So this was obviously our favorite hostel ever. Also the rooms are nice, AC is great, the breakfast is really yummy (nica breakfast), and overall the vibe is very chill and calm. Thank you Rafa!

The hosts Marc and Mariken are super friendly and welcoming. The room is simple, clean, and has some nice touches of attention. The private balcony is fantastic with hammocks and a small table, and they have a couple of surfboards for rent. The location is great, walking distance to the surf break and some local restaurants. Marc however also cooks delicious meals himself!

A really nice place one minute walk to a super beautiful beach connected to the property by stairs. The rooms are cosy with a private bathroom. Nicely equiped shared kitchen. There is also a restaurant and a huge terrace with view over the lake and stunning sunsets. Hammocks to chill and cold Toñas to enjoy. I booked for one night but wil stay a few more days. Nice local area with small shops and restaurants in walking distance. Lots of nature and San Ramón waterfal and Maderas volcano both close by. Good WiFi & friendly staff.

The room was just what I needed, a comfortable bed, a nice bathroom with a shower, and a strong fan at a fantastic price! I slept like a baby. Horizonte is on an alley street very close to the beach, and all bars and restaurants, so it was the perfect location - on a quiet street, but close to all of the action. The whole family was very warm and engaging. I will stay again.
