The general hospitality and warmth of Nicole and Gus. Every little amenity was addressed from welcome chocolates in the room to an honor bar in the breakfast area which was continuously restocked during our stay. The location was in proximity to numerous shops and good quality restaurants. Nicole's breakfast was exceptional with an assortment of jams, honey, bread, fruit, meats, cheeses, yogurt and eggs.

The apartment was beautifully decorated and clean. Although it was located in a central location, we barely heard any noise. The hosts are very friendly and snacks and drinks were provided free of charge which was a nice touch.

The terrace garden in the heart of the city is a magnificent refuge and the perfect place to relax anytime of the day. The hostess was incredibly kind and generous - she made our trip all the more rewarding and enjoyable. Comfort and convenience were superb with the style of the apartment a 10+. Do yourself a favour when you are in Maastricht and stay here - you will NEVER want to leave!

Excellent service, we enjoyed our stay and felt very welcomed. If by chance we make it to gulpen again, we will definitely revisit

De Plank is a family-owned hotel in the rustic village of Noorbeek, only 20 minutes’ from Maastricht in the peaceful green Heuvelland area. Great 4 nights stay. Great choices for breakfast, and had dinner 2 of the nights - food great. Staff also really helpful. Definitely stay again.
