This place was just what I needed to have a good early start for Trolltunga. Note that the room had a dedicated parking spot (saving 500 NOK) that had to be vacated before the next people checked in.

Eidfjord is super cute I would definitely recommend a visit. We did kayaking, used the free public sauna on the north beach, and did a small hike up to a viewpoint. There is great coffee and pastries at Vik’s bakery and we saw a cruise ship come in on our last day! Also just a short 20min drive to the big waterfall.

The hotel is a 350 year old family-run type of location with all possible beauty you can imagine. very very cozy place, extremely nice staff. Rooms clean, beds comfy, breakfast is splendid. The apartment is one of more, located in a house on the road and close to the river, in the middle of nature. The house has everything needed and was comfortable. We would come back soon :)
