I had a great stay. So peaceful, in connection with the fjords at all times seeing them through the window, and everything I needed right there: a perfectly equipped kitchen, a beautiful dining room, a place to swim and relax, a beautiful trail around the corner, a supermarket, a kayak (and assistance) from the hosts... They were the most genuine, caring people, it was so nice to stay with them. Highly recommend to stay here!! Ideally for multiple days so you can really unwind, slow down, soak in the beauty...

Our family with a 3 years old had a great time at the apartment. It was very clean, cozy and the beds were really comfortable. We had everything we needed. Hosts were very very friendly and nice, it was a pleasure to meet their family. And the view to the fjord was really beautiful, we enjoyed having breakfast in the garden. Would like to stay there longer.

The location is phenomenal and the accomodation / property is more or less exactly as described. This place was just what I needed to have a good early start for Trolltunga. Note that the room had a dedicated parking spot (saving 500 NOK) that had to be vacated before the next people checked in.

We didn't have very high expectations for this hotel when we booked it through the booking site. Considering that, we were very positively surprised Very nice clean hotel. The floors in the room and many other floors were clean. This hotel didn't have horrible smelly dirty and dusty carpets. The beds were really good (by far the best of this trip). The staff is friendly. Special thanks for the neatness and cleanliness. The selection of breakfast was basic, but the quality of what was offered was good and everything was extremely fresh. The degree of doneness of the hard-boiled chicken eggs was like something from the Michelin chef's manual. If I ever had an issue in the vicinity of this hotel, I wouldn't consider any other hotel. The best overnight stay of the entire almost three-week trip. Simple, very clean and tidy, excellent beds and silence.

Historic Jaunsen Gjestgjevarstad offers home-cooked Norwegian cuisine, free Wi-Fi, and free private parking. Voss is 25 minutes’ drive away. This is the most charming hotel we stayed in during our 3-week trip. The minute you get in the door you feel like you're in a museum that takes you back in time. We had gotten a message that we could book a table to dinner but because we were riding all day we didn't think we would get to the hotel in time for dinner. From other guests we heard that the dinner was lovely so we are a bit sad we missed out on this. Breakfast buffet was also nice. Make sure you wonder through all the different rooms and enjoy the decor.

The owner welcomed us with a big smile and explaining us everything needed, he was very kind. The apartment is one of more, located in a house on the road and close to the river, in the middle of nature. The house has everything needed and was comfortable. We would come back soon :)
