Sakrisøy Gjestegård - Manor House in Sakrisøy - Solbakken anno 1880 is housed in a former manor house dating back to 1880 and is located in the area of Moskenes. Free WiFi is featured throughout the property and free private parking is available 70 metres away. There was no breakfast option during my stay, but the room I stayed in had a shared kitchen with all the facilities except that there was no microwave. There was no one else during my stay, so I used the kitchen alone. The room was warm, quiet, clean and very comfortable. Parking was at the intersection, and although the road to the door was a bit steep, it was still manageable with luggage. Our room was on the first floor, which was quite convenient. If you book other type of rooms, you need to take the stairs, which needs to be considered appropriately if your luggage is heavy.

The property was built in 1957 and has air-conditioned accommodation with a patio. We stayed here overnight for a 6:40am flight from Evenes airport the next morning. The place was perfect for us and suited our needs. 15 minute drive to the airport, comfortable rooms with good block out blinds. The hosts were easy to deal with.

Super cosy room and a separate guest area with picture window. You could just sit there for hours watching the kittiwakes. Staff were totally wonderful. Food exceptional. Wish we could stay longer

At the guest house, all units are fitted with bed linen and towels. The dinner was the best we have had in Norway and it was wonderful to be one tiny part of preserving the history of such a beautiful place. We walked to the sculpture garden at our hosts recommendation and we were cozy inside while the wind blew and the sea crashed under the docking in the night.

It was great! The toilet and bathroom are in the ground floor, so expect stairs up and down, but no problem for me.
