This is a beautiful property that has been in the family for generations. The entire property was beautifully maintained and our room was modern and spotless. The bed was so comfy and the bedding and pillows were great. Olav was the perfect host.

Having a sofa and an extra comfortable chair in my room was a real bonus. The kitchen was fully equipped and spotless — I could prepare my dinner without any hassle. The bathroom felt just like home. A washing machine was available, and unlike most shared places, detergent was also provided. That was such a thoughtful detail and made it easy for me to do my laundry — thank you! I will definitely be back. Very highly recommended!

Vangsgaarden Gjestgiveri is located in the oldest buildings in the village of Aurland. Situated on the shores of Aurlandsfjord, it offers wonderful views of the surrounding mountains. The hotel's location is amazing. There are breathtaking views just outside the hotel windows. It is also a very quiet and peaceful place with friendly neighbours.
