Like a home from home. Super clean…you remove your shoes at the entrance and have the option of free slip-ons. We were a little concerned about the shared bathroom before we arrived but it works very well. There are three separate showers.and separate toilets. All were super clean and almost always free. So it really was like having an en-suite to yourself. The British hosts Kathy, Wayne and their son Jo were always available and really friendly and helpful. We had full access to the lovely comfortable lounge, dining room and fully equipped kitchen. Kathy supplies free milk to make tea etc. Our favourite place was the outside veranda which had an electric canopy. As this was elevated you can sit on the comfy chairs and watch what is going on in the fjord. A perfect spot to view the mountains and fjord. The accommodation was easy walking distance to Fram along a nice wooden walkway. We would thoroughly recommend this accommodation to anyone who wants a superb quiet holiday in Flam with fantastic views.

Really beautifully renovated but still maintaining the great old feeling. Clean and nice areas and rooms. Especially well equipped kitchen. Plenty of toilets for every guest. Very nice renovated shower rooms. Several nice common rooms and balcony and terrace to spend time. Host was very very nice and friendly and helped me to dry my wet motorist’s clothes.

Offering a barbecue and views of the fjord and mountains, Døsen Gård is situated in Luster. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. All units have a private bathroom with a shower. This is a beautiful property that has been in the family for generations. The entire property was beautifully maintained and our room was modern and spotless. The bed was so comfy and the bedding and pillows were great. Olav was the perfect host.

The location was great for a peaceful vacation. We took a boat trip to the Viking Museum. The stop was literally a few minutes walk from our place. The host was very friendly and helpful. The house had a fabulous view over the fjord..We could also enjoy the sauna in the house after a long day, which was a great thing to do. The house was very clean and equipped with every necessary thing the traveller needs! Thank you to the hosts! We had a great stay!

The host was wonderful, very friendly, helpful, and kind, with plenty of great motorcycle route recommendations. The room was clean, quiet, and spacious, with private and safe parking. Having a sofa and an extra comfortable chair in my room was a real bonus. The kitchen was fully equipped and spotless — I could prepare my dinner without any hassle. The bathroom felt just like home. A washing machine was available, and unlike most shared places, detergent was also provided. That was such a thoughtful detail and made it easy for me to do my laundry — thank you! I will definitely be back. Very highly recommended!

Vangsgaarden Gjestgiveri is located in the oldest buildings in the village of Aurland. Situated on the shores of Aurlandsfjord, it offers wonderful views of the surrounding mountains. Superb location a stone's throw from the ferry drop off point in Aurland. We were advised on how & where to get the mini bus up to the viewing point as well as helping us get to Bergen by ferry rather than ferry and bus. The attached bar / restaurant was very much needed after a long day travelling from Oslo via Flam.
