We walked to the sculpture garden at our hosts recommendation and we were cozy inside while the wind blew and the sea crashed under the docking in the night.

On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the guest house's outdoor fireplace. The pictures do not do this place justice. It is a lovely little cottage with everything you could need. The artwork inside the cabin is very special, and styling of the home is full of character, and the host is friendly and kind. The sky was cloudy the night we stayed, so we couldn’t see the Northern lights out the large bay windows in the cabin, but there is a large field just outside that we were able to see the from facing the other direction. We were sad to have only stayed 1 night and would definitely recommend!

We really valued our time here in the cozy rorbua. It is a perfect location for doing a loop of Andoya Island for a day as well. 100% recommend for a relaxing weekend getaway, just be prepared to bring any food you want in, as it is 30 min to the nearest store.

The guest rooms feature access to shared kitchen and bathroom facilities. All have a sea view. We appreciated wonderful historical vibe of the building. We enjoyed the genius loci of the place.
