We spent 10 days on the Lofoten and we had the best dinner there! Amazing breakfast and the bread is so yummi! The rooms are a bit small for the prize but you can easily manage it. It worth it to drive all the way to Nyksund.

The dinner was the best we have had in Norway and it was wonderful to be one tiny part of preserving the history of such a beautiful place. We walked to the sculpture garden at our hosts recommendation and we were cozy inside while the wind blew and the sea crashed under the docking in the night.

The pictures do not do this place justice. It is a lovely little cottage with everything you could need. The artwork inside the cabin is very special, and styling of the home is full of character, and the host is friendly and kind. The sky was cloudy the night we stayed, so we couldn’t see the Northern lights out the large bay windows in the cabin, but there is a large field just outside that we were able to see the from facing the other direction. We were sad to have only stayed 1 night and would definitely recommend!

Amazing location, extremely friendly and polite host. The room was equipped with all we needed. Private parking lot available. The surrounding area is amazing, we regret we didn't stay longer.

Stunning quiet location that is far from most of the main tourist areas of Lofoten but dont let that discourage you from visiting, this is a completely authentic and family run lodging experience. We really valued our time here in the cozy rorbua. It is a perfect location for doing a loop of Andoya Island for a day as well. 100% recommend for a relaxing weekend getaway, just be prepared to bring any food you want in, as it is 30 min to the nearest store.

This central Andenes accommodation overlooks the Norwegian Sea and harbour. Free WIFI and shop with local handicrafts is available on site. The units are located in 2 house by the sea. We appreciated wonderful historical vibe of the building. We enjoyed the genius loci of the place.
