You will have an opportunity to stay with many locals and share about their culture. A lot of cute kids were always playing around, so the place was really lively. The food was excellent and the room & bathroom were sparkling clean! The village of Namobuddha is very authentic and the scenery stunning. If you're lucky enough, you will also have the opportunity to meet Ian who lives there and runs a charity association to provide water pipelines for remote villages. Trust me, go there ...that's the kind of place you will never forget.

I stayed in Nirvana Kuti following the recommendation of Linda, a wonderful woman that I met in Delhi airport. She was indeed accurate: Nirvana Kuti is such a beautiful accomodation, comfortable, clean and pretty new. It was easy to feel home. Besides the comfort of the room, with a big, warm bed, with views to the temple just in front of the house, it is located just a few steps from Durbar square, in a very calm street. I slept extremely well and woke up to the beautiful views. Life is magical and I met Bobby, the owner of Nirvana Kuti, even before my stay. He kindly offered me a ride to Nirvana Kuti, and he made it very easy for me to feel home. Even more, he also allowed me to stay a bit longer because my bus was leaving in the evening. I appreciate Bobby's kindness and the beautiful taste in which the house is built. It is both comfortable and stylish, and the location couldn't be better. Thank you Bobby for making of my last days in Kathmandu (for this time) a beautiful experience and see you next time ♡

STUPA VIEW INN se găsește în Kathmandu, la 5 minute de mers pe jos de Swayambhu, și oferă o grădină, o terasă și vedere la oraș. The location was great! 10 minute walk to Swayambhunath. It was quiet at night. The host was a wonderful gentleman. I had spent 3 months in Nepal and my last two nights were at this spot. If I’m lucky enough to be able to visit Kathmandu again I’ll certainly stay here.

U will find many sitting spots in the complex where u can work peacefully or just enjoy the quiet atmosphere. Attached to it is the nunnery and also a beautiful garden. It’s only 6m walk to the Stupa. Near the entrance there is a new clinic in case u need to do some checks. Many local restaurants are nearby. The price is modest and funds the nunnery 🙏🙏🙏

Offering a restaurant, Mayur Restaurant that serves Indian and regional cuisines, Peacock Guest House is located 100 metres from the City Centre. Super pretty and comfortable! Lovely to see the inside of this gorgeous Newari house. Quiet at night (but busy during the day), nice and flexible staff, just by a cute and lovely village square and temple. Very lovely inner courtyard and wood carving exhibit.

Located within 200 m from Boudhanath Stupa and Sechen Monastery, ROKPA Guest House is located in Boudha, Tinchule. It offers free WiFi access throughout the property. It’s clean, green, peaceful, in a great location if you want to be near the stupa, and the staff are wonderful. The food is excellent too.

Zen Nest Hotel se află în Kathmandu, la aproximativ 3,1 km de Templul Swayambhunath și la 5,1 km de Pashupatinath. Această pensiune include o terasă și se află aproape de o serie de atracții... The owner and the staff were incredibly helpful and very welcoming. They were always ready to answer questions and give directions and even recommended a good restaurant and timing for momo. The owner also helped me to book the tourist bus without charging any commission. The room was simple but very clean and well-maintained. I love my short stay here. I will definitely reserve a stay here if I ever visit Kathmandu again.

Lumwoh Guest House se află în Bhaktapur, la aproximativ 12 minute de mers pe jos de Piața Bhaktapur Durbar și la 13 km de Piaţa Patan Durbar. What you see is what you get and that is great! Simple straightforward rooms in a nice and quite street close to all the beautifull squares. The manager is a wonderfully kind man who speaks perfect English, we stayed two nights more because we liked it so much. Good hot shower and everything is very clean.
