Our window view was of a temple, and you are literally two blocks from Kathmandu Durbar Square. The room had charging plugs right near the bed, and each room is its own floor so the bathroom — adjacent — is private. There is a water dispenser and a kettle on each floor as well. Bobby suggested that we use the roof are to dry clothes, but he also provides a clothespin rack inside (it’s monsoon season). Bobby was super helpful — met me at the airport, showed us where to change money, helped us buy umbrellas, booked our Tourist bus to Pokhara, arranged for a taxi pickup, and each was a value-for-money experience. He let us store our luggage for our days away for a small fee. The room is only fan-cooled, but I’d gladly put up with the “a little steamy” for the location and the support.

Với khu vườn, sân hiên và nhìn ra thành phố, STUPA VIEW INN nằm ở Kathmandu, cách Đền Swayambhu 5 phút đi bộ. The place was brilliant, very clean and lovely comfy room. Great view of Kathmandu and the temple. The location is great and is about a 15-20 min walk to the center. Owner is lovely gave us lots of tips and advice coming in to the place. We’re coming back to stay again as we have one more night Kathmandu after we left to Pokhara. Great place!

The most wonderful place to stay!!!🥰 The hosts are amazingly kind and helpful, warm-hearted people! During my almost 3 months long stay in Nepal i returned several times to their guest house; from the first night i spent there, i felt like home! Absolutely loved the location, overlooking the city, an oasis of peace.. Very good energies.. Everything is clean and tidy, the food is very good, prices are highly affordable. They have rooms of different categories, so everyone can choose according to their buget.. Although the distance from the city center made me a bit uncertain before i arrived, being there i was shortly convinced, that all the other advantages far outweighed this shortcoming.. The distance was not a problem for me at all, Boudha Stupa is 40 minutes walking distance, we walked even to Thamel and Patan from there. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!🙏 I hope to return, soon!

It’s only 6m walk to the Stupa. Near the entrance there is a new clinic in case u need to do some checks. Many local restaurants are nearby. The price is modest and funds the nunnery 🙏🙏🙏

Offering a restaurant, Mayur Restaurant that serves Indian and regional cuisines, Peacock Guest House is located 100 metres from the City Centre. The Peacock Guesthouse is a most charming, heritage-rich, and truly special oasis in beautiful Bhaktapur. The staff are welcoming and kind. Their restaurant serves exquisite food. We dined at “home” each evening. We loved observing the colourful life in Dattatreya Square from our window perch. The breakfast is glorious. We savoured every moment of our time in this delightful gem.

Located within 200 m from Boudhanath Stupa and Sechen Monastery, ROKPA Guest House is located in Boudha, Tinchule. It offers free WiFi access throughout the property. The gardens are lush and soothing. Perfect to enjoy a cappuccino and write in my journal.

Everything was wonderful. Everyone that we interacted with was extremely nice and caring. They wanted you to feel like at home. The shower water was hot. Breakfast was yummy and plentiful. Although in a busy area, it was quiet and we could sleep.

Zen Nest Hotel tọa lạc ở Kathmandu, cách Đền Swayambhunath 3.1 km và Đền Pashupatinath 5.1 km. The owner and the staff were incredibly helpful and very welcoming. They were always ready to answer questions and give directions and even recommended a good restaurant and timing for momo. The owner also helped me to book the tourist bus without charging any commission. The room was simple but very clean and well-maintained. I love my short stay here. I will definitely reserve a stay here if I ever visit Kathmandu again.
