I stayed in Nirvana Kuti following the recommendation of Linda, a wonderful woman that I met in Delhi airport. She was indeed accurate: Nirvana Kuti is such a beautiful accomodation, comfortable, clean and pretty new. It was easy to feel home. Besides the comfort of the room, with a big, warm bed, with views to the temple just in front of the house, it is located just a few steps from Durbar square, in a very calm street. I slept extremely well and woke up to the beautiful views. Life is magical and I met Bobby, the owner of Nirvana Kuti, even before my stay. He kindly offered me a ride to Nirvana Kuti, and he made it very easy for me to feel home. Even more, he also allowed me to stay a bit longer because my bus was leaving in the evening. I appreciate Bobby's kindness and the beautiful taste in which the house is built. It is both comfortable and stylish, and the location couldn't be better. Thank you Bobby for making of my last days in Kathmandu (for this time) a beautiful experience and see you next time ♡

The units at the guest house feature private entrance and soundproofing so guests can enjoy a peaceful stay. There is a seating and a dining area in all units. The units include a private bathroom, slippers and bed linen. Tara guest house is situated close to the town center but also far enough to enjoy quite, calm enviroment. It is close to the river where we could already find wild life (crocodiles and others) but it is safe. Guest house has nice terrase, from where we could observe working elephants walking the street. The staff is extremly nice, very helpful and with them we also had done the jungle walk, which was extraordinary experience. Definately take those 2 if you plan jungle walk.
