We really enjoyed our stay here. It was warm and comfortable, a very inviting place to stay. It is maintained to a very high standard and exceptionally clean. The decor is lovely. Small things but having nice toiletries and thoughtful care put into the tea/coffee/drinks area in the room makes a difference. We had a room with a large bed and a sofa bed which was very well made up for our child. Both beds were very comfortable. A lovely lounge area with a fire in the evening. Kind and very helpful staff. Would definitely stay again.

I travel to Christchurch regularly for business and I almost never stay in the same place twice — there’s always something that doesn’t quite work. I have a disability, and I need a place that’s quiet, clean, comfortable, and run by someone who genuinely cares. That combination has been incredibly hard to find… until now. This property is perfect in every way. My colleague and I each had our own room, separated by a modern bathroom with underfloor heating and an amazing shower — great water pressure and proper shampoo/body wash dispensers (not those tiny tear-open packets!). The beds were super comfortable, and the large smart TV and heat pump made the stay feel like home. The best part? Absolute peace and quiet. No road noise — the only sound was my colleague snoring in the other room! It’s spotless, modern, and thoughtfully set up. On top of all that, we arrived to two chocolate bars waiting for us — such a simple but genuinely kind gesture. The host truly cares about making sure you’re happy and comfortable, and it shows in every detail. We will definitely be back — many times over the coming years.
