Andrea and Mike were wonderful hosts, personally welcoming us to accommodation and guiding us to the best local eats and things to do. The room was large, including the bathroom and provided us everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The accomodation backs directly onto a park and tennis court, and provides access to the main strip with the local pub, cafe and convenience store. We also walked to Cathedral Cove from the accomodation via the beach (and pathway that has a sign not to walk though but found it was still walkable, just overgrown plants), it must of taken about an hour to walk each way (the walk is much longer and hilly than I had anticipated, but its a beautiful walk along the coastline so you can take your time and enjoy the view). Its also a 10min drive to Hot Water Beach, and loved that the shovels are provided.

Very friendly host Maria greeted us when we arrived a bit late at the accommodation. The facilities and amenities were exceptional. And great view as well. Very happy with the stay !

The location was incredible a slice of paradise. We enjoyed the comfy bed with a view of the beach and slept so well in the cosy sheets. The shower excellent and the Manuka Honey body lotion I loved so much I bought a bottle at the airport. The kitchen was so cute every detail thought out. Studio Otama beach is a private haven!

A perfect cosy getaway! We absolutely loved our stay at the cabin — it was beautifully set up with everything we needed. The privacy was amazing, and the outdoor bath was such a treat, especially under the stars. Barry and Lesley were incredibly welcoming and took the time to show us around, which made us feel right at home. Highly recommended for anyone looking to relax and unwind in a peaceful setting!

All she cares about is you being happy. And I truly was, feeling SO at home🥰 The place is clean, modern & top notch. Just wait until you fully open up those 4 doors near the bed. And the location can’t be beat!! My only regret is that I didn’t plan for staying longer. This is a place where you can get stuck and have no qualms about it. The center of town, the beach and the trails are all right beyond their white picket fence. It’s kind of surreal. And Hahei, for now, is preserved. May it stay that way 🙏
