The owners Jenny and Doug are lovely, welcoming hosts and we had great communication with them before and during our stay. Breakfast offerings were plentiful and delicious. We also loved meeting their 2 very cute pups!

When you pull into the drive of the Signal Box, you'll see a house under renovation to your left. Pay no attention to that, but look straight ahead; the unit above the garages is the large, lovely room you'll have all to yourself. Enormous windows look over the bucolic property, which gently slopes down to the Whanganui River. It's really like a mini paradise and owner Renee couldn't be nicer or more helpful. Highly recommended!

We liked everything! Nice ground level apartment with plenty of room, comfortable bed and very clean. Carol was a great host and made sure we felt at home. Breakfast was continental with 3 different types of cereal and other amenities. We would detour out of our way to stay here again! Even got a spot in the garage for my rental car...can't beat that! Great value for the price.

This is a really well appointed self contained small apartment in a very quiet part of town. Parking is outside the property on the street but very convenient and safe. The villa has all facilities for cooking and we eat in the villa all 3 nights. With an excellent washer and dryer we wee able to wash clothes and dry outside on a drying rack - ample pegs provided. There is a small, elegant garden with a sitting area to enjoy the evening sunshine. All was very comfortable. Supermarkets were close. It was a 1.5 to 2 km walk into town, which we did not do. It was absolutely gorgeous I was really happy with the location. It was very clean and there was everything I needed to cook and plenty of parking space. Arrival was a bit confusing but the host came out and meet us and she was absolutely lovely.

Friendly owners with two lovely dogs and a toddler, stocked fridge with lots of goodies that are included in the price.
