From communication before hand to meeting them and having great chats about the beautiful property . The home has everything you need for a comfortable stay and the north western patio/deck is a great place to have a late afternoon wine , thanks guys . The heated blanket on bed was the final cherry on the top . Having ebikes was a bonus to being able to get around , as would it be to have a car . We believe buses are pretty close too .

Wild Thyme is situated a 15-minute walk from Oneroa Village and a 35 minute ferry ride from downtown Auckland. Free WiFi and free private parking are available. The hosts, Bruce and Jules, were very welcoming and friendly. They were always available to help and answered any questions we had. Great service. Room was clean, comfy and had everything we needed. Very good view and good location. Just a few minute drive to most places we wanted to visit. The complimentary bottle of bubbles definitely enhanced our stay. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to have a nice, relaxing stay at Waiheke.

Brett and Veronica were excellent hosts and I cannot recommend La Bodega enough. Excellent accommodation and facilities with the views that were just breathtaking. We will return on our next trip to New Zealand.

One of the best properties we have stayed at. Very private. Feels like Tuscany with olive trees on site and vineyards below. Grapes growing right by your door. A bit tricky to find and you need a car as it is difficult to walk the vary narrow and twisty roads.

If you want the familiar comforts of a run of the mill hotel, this isn't it. This place is full of character, interest and personal touches. It is set in a peaceful, rural location about 500m uphill from the bus stop. It's a 20 minute walk up and then downhill to a beautiful beach. There is a supermarket about 1km away. It is clean, comfortable and quiet. Sit on the verandah in the evening and listen to the sounds of nature. Highly recommended.
