After traveling a month in Oman and staying at several dirty, worn, overpriced hotels, Nima Guesthouse was a welcome change. We loved our double room at the back of the property. Clean, comfortable, and QUIET (the best sleep I had in weeks). The manager, Houssain (and his lovely girlfriend, Nazanin), and the staff are warm and welcoming. We made good use of the well stocked kitchen to make our own meals. Nice outdoor terrace to hang out and meet other travelers. Great central location.

We had the pleasure of staying at three places in Nizwa, and this was by far the best! Everything about this property exceeded our expectations. It’s spotlessly clean, feels brand new, and the rooms are incredibly large—perfect for small families. The host was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with such kindness and warmth. They truly made us feel welcome and cared for, which added so much to the experience. Their hospitality was unparalleled, and it’s clear they genuinely care about their guests. We’ve traveled extensively and stayed in countless hotels, but this one easily ranks as the best we’ve ever stayed in. The only regret we have is not being able to enjoy it for longer. We checked in late and sadly missed out on spending more time in the charming outdoor seating areas. A huge thank you to the host for creating such a wonderful and memorable experience. We hope to return soon, and next time, we’ll make sure to arrive earlier!

Incredible hosts. You can't stay any closer to the balcony walk than this. The homecooked meals were excellent and a ton of food as well, you won't go hungry here. There's only two rooms and we were lucky enough to get the whole place to ourselves. It's peaceful and tranquil, especially around sunset. Everything is clean and well cared for. Had no issues finding the place (google maps) and no issues checking in or anything. AC worked very well. Shower pressure was good. No issues whatsoever. Fantastic place run by very delightful and kind people

The warm hospitality here was excellent! We had a very comfortable two-day stay. Lovely views from the rooftop, where it’s set up for enjoying the surrounds with tables/chairs. Easy parking; walking distance to the ruins of the old village, the museum and the wadi/palm grove. Great aircon and wifi. Highly recommended!

It was our favourite place we stayed during our trip in Oman, and hope to be back again soon. Great dinner and incredible breakfast spread. Owner gave us good local recommendations of what to see in and around Al Hamra. Locally-sourced and all natural soaps in the bathrooms were a perfect added touch. Would recommend this as a must stay for any friends who ask for recommendations for Oman!
